NJROTC uniform ribbons represent a cadet’s achievements, service, and dedication within the program. Each ribbon symbolizes success in areas such as leadership, academics, community service, drill performance, physical fitness, and citizenship.
Wearing these ribbons is a mark of pride and accomplishment. They reflect not only individual effort but also a cadet’s contribution to the overall success of the unit. Ribbons are awarded according to Navy regulations and NJROTC program standards, and they must be worn in the correct order of precedence and placement on the uniform.
Cadets are encouraged to understand the meaning and significance of each ribbon, as they represent the values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment that define every member of the Navy Junior ROTC.
